I've seen them from $99 up to hundreds.  Got one on Way fair dot com for $87.

Since it's a new house, we have had to replace a lot - our breakfast will be served on an east facing porch, so we needed an umbrella.  Hard to believe at this point in time, but it is a fact that it WILL get hot  and I will be ready.  Yay.

I expected the arm to be secured with a heavy duty water or sand stand.  Once you get it, you may want to see if you can convert it to one of those to help keep things firmly on the ground or table.wink

we will have wind.  right by the ocean.  the umbrella I bought has the double canvas - you know, with an opening at the top.

Lots of restaurants and beachgoers use umbrellas around here.  You just have to be aware.

I was asking about the stand, not the canvas part. Wouldn't want it to fly up and tear your breakfast off the table.

You know I had to ask, wind. ? I can imagine this thing in the air more than on the deck.
