It's not unusual for us to get our heaviest snowfall in March, now that the ocean that surrounds us has cooled off. But this is ridiculous...expecting 12"-18" of snow with hurricane force winds tomorrow night. Sigh...better batten down the hatches one more time. But this BETTER be the LAST storm of the season.
We had one couple, due mid-week next week from MD, cancel. The forecast scared them away...whimps.

There is only one thing I am saying about all of this wintry stuff, at least it will make it a better year for ticks and bugs out there. Otherwise it is just not on!
This is the last one, the finale of the year, no more snow!

You are dead on about the bugs. I got a mosquito magnet last year...really helped. Also put out the mosquito dunks in the flooded areas in the spring. Going to get another magnet this year... Aside from our Basset Hounds, I don't know of any tick magnets!
NO MORE SNOW!!!!! I will not post anymore snow photos!

After 25 years in VT I don't believe it's spring until memorial day.
In NY last year they had measurable snow on mother's day.
