Trying To Help

Hi all,
My partner Helen and I design and build websites for bed and breakfast owners and we need your help to decide whether a new venture is possible or not.
Basically we noticed how many bed and breakfast websites were unusable and/or didn’t offer online bookings. Most seemed so complex when actually they should be pretty simple really. After speaking to some owners, we realised that often the costs of designing a new website were prohibitive - e.g. for something worthwhile the costs could be in the thousands.
So we quit our jobs at web agencies at launched www.upbookings.com. We design custom mobile-ready websites with booking systems for £10 a month. Our friends and family think this price is beyond the ridiculous considering it takes over a week to build each one at the moment, but if we can get the numbers up, we should be able to keep making it all possible. If not, we shall have to go back to the day jobs!
We’ve no dreams of grandeur, just a basic income working for people that actually appreciate our endeavours. We're designing this site currently [password protected link removed by swirt]
Here's a few details:

• Responsive design (works well on small screens as well as large)
• Simple multi-room booking system administered through Wordpress
• Paypal payments but Stripe integration coming soon
• Built by hand (no Wordpress themes involved as they can perform really badly due to stacks of extraneous code)
• Admin control via Wordpress

We're also happy to help with other areas. For example, we've been providing advice with social media to an owner recently at no extra cost. We keep a blog too.
We just want to get this all of the ground and I'd love to hear your thoughts. I see quite a few of you are really knowledgable about the web.

You are ok with this post but it is kind of borderline self-promotion.

Most of us are from US though we do range the gamut. As you say many of us are pretty web savvy and probably don't need your assistance. I suspect that anyone in the US will want to work with US company for web design.

One problem you are going to have is that the innkeepers with web-sites-from-hunger will not recognize that fact because to them it is beautiful now.
