We can't find a place to stay...

It's that time of year. The emails from people who want to exchange a stay here for photos, videos, a write up in some obscure blog.
This one is funny because it says they have been unsuccessful finding a place to stay so can they stay here? Went would they think I have room?
Odd, I don't remember anyone calling to ask if we have a week open at that time.

Tell them that you are willing to do an exchange... in exchange for a room... money.

Funny, we don't get those. I get the requests for discount because they offered to honor us with their presence for 2 nights instead of 1 or those who think they should get a discount because their job title is "travel agent", but not the blog updates.

Im sort of in the reverse situation been offered an article in a guide I would like to be in but they have to stay 24th April when we are full and as its the organising committee for the event the guide people are also coming to they aren't likely to cancel! grrr!
