Anyone getting emails from 'preferred providers' who fb allows to manipulate the system for pay?
I got one that says if I don't pay only 1-2% of my fans will every see my posts.
I realize the number dropped from 25% to maybe 10% but I don't really use it for anything other than chatting to anyone who listens. It's not my main marketing system.

I think fb has seen its peak. For me it is now a waste of time I would stop if i didnt use it to keep up with family and some old friends. I have tried to unfollow a few people and it will not work.

Marketing on Facebook doesn't work as well as it used to. As your page gets more likes, it is seen by less people. In response to this, Facebook lets you pay to promote your page to the people who have liked your page.
Veritasium spent some time to study how Facebook is limiting your access to the people who like your page. He made a video about Facebook's fraud, and it's presented in an easy to understand way. You can see his video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVfHeWTKjag

Thank you for posting this. I have been contacted by a company called, Bran de fined and they say they do 'target' advertising on fb. Sounds alot like this youtube message. They say they work only with small business and b&b's. Anyone else ever heard of them? I haven't 'go og led' them yet, but plan to before I do anything.

Anyone that cold calls you should never be given the time of day. Hang up and don't look back. Bad news.

It's very frustrating! Last week I did a bunch of posts. We have 575 fans, but an average of 35 people saw each one. Disgusting!
I finally did a "Boost Post" on a great picture of our house that a guest took. Paid $4.24 for 1,800 people to see it. Got a few new likes out of it, nothing to get excited about.
I like FB, that's the problem. It's been a great way to keep in touch with guests and someone people use it to vet us. But, it's not working like it should, that's for sure!
