Hey Billy,

Blogs is them thar thangs whar you write real purdy thangs about yer hills on the internet and then use a couple of doo-hickeys to hook yer blog up to yer very own web site.  You got one a them web sites yet?  Them blogs help ya to make google juice.  Easy as makin shine.

wtf are you all talking about?   are you being quoted on websites?   who steals quotes from a forum?   Just asking?   In all seriousness, it looks like something bad happened to one of you.

What?

Beach, a new poster joined the forum a couple days ago who appeared to be mining the forum for fodder for blog articles -- she's in the business of writing blogs for B&B's....

I'm slow on the uptake today.  I was reading various posts and found her post.   I can see how it could be a valuable place to get ideas, but agree, no quotes, please.

We have from time to time those who come here to glean information, use it in statistics to sell their product, book or services. They actually come here not knowing a thing about innkeeping and use us as a resource and walk away schpealing their expertise.

Be warned people about anyone who wants to do YOUR BLOGGING for you. Fake blogs writing for an inn are my pet peeve, if the innkeeper doesn't want to blog, sobeit.

This is an open forum, so what we say here can and will be used against us. LOL

I wondered what the heck that was all about. Is it okay if you are being credited or referenced? I don't write a blog, but I would be a big hack if I was just lifting stuff from this forum.

Ditto. We exist here to help other innkeepers not to feed content.
