Missed Opportunity???

Remember there was a casting director here looking for innkeepers? He or she specifically invited me to try out for their show about living the dream?
The kid and hubby talked me out of talking to him. And rightly so, who wants a show about their bickering and temper tantrums on tv? Since that's what they like to show.
Anyway, I recently saw the same premise on HGTV looking for people. My favorite station. I can have it on all day long! I applied to House Hunters when we were moving and I applied to a diy show. AND in my younger days, I actually persued a career in acting.
sigh. I know hubby was right, but I still think our inn would have made a great episode of "Living the Dream."

I ignored the email request for innkeeping couples, too.
You know those shows need drama and they'll create it if need be.
Plus, unless there are guests we're about as exciting as watching grass grow.
I'm playing WWF and dh is watching movies.

Recently a guest of ours told us of his close encounter of reality TV it was not pretty. As Maddie said if it doesn't go the way the director wants, (s)he will create it. The contract states it and once signed you are 'theirs' and they can make you come across the way they see fit.

It all sounds a little scary, but you often wonder what would happen if our house got into a TV show or something. We are on a different island, so there isn't much chance, but it would be great to get the house on Hawaii 5-0! Us- not so great.
