I just thought I would send you all a quick note and give you an update on a new feature for InnRewards. As you know, most of us use Reservation Key for our reservation software for our properties. IR has partnered with RK. Everyone who is listed with RK now can be searched through the IR website. When a customer on IR does a search, it pulls info from RK and will find your property, if you have availability. This is the same feature that Trip C and Booking has. At this time, we only have the U.S. up and going. As we grow this feature, we will expand to other countries. The more users we get, we will be able to narrow customers searches down to cities. For now it will just be a search of the states. All you have to do is login to your IR account and add your property ID Number. If you need help finding your ID number, let me know or you can ask John. John will be going over this on RK in the coming days.

If you have not signed up for this free pgrm, created by innkeepers - not corporate, click the link to sign up! All that is required is a special gift to your guests, so you choose the reward, a bottle of bubbly if they stay 3 nights, or whatever it may be.
The ReservationKey link is YOUR REZ Page, not embedded on innrewards, so this link takes the guest to your online reservation page.
Great job Billy.

That is fantastic!! Great job! I have been surprised to not see more signed on as it IS FREE and we KNOW it is legit. Sigh. Once we get it populated, SEO can be done, but it is a waste to do it without B & B population (hotels are screened out and not permitted to list).

Here is the directions in RK on how to find your property ID number:
1) Go to Settings
2) Scroll down to External Connections
3) Next to Trip Connect you will see in Blue Enabled Properties (Click on this)
4)Then you will see Select Property Linked to TripAdvisor: Click on the select and find your listing. If you have several properties find the one related to the one you want for IR (Click the the property)
5) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. You will see a bunch of code in green at the bottom of the page.
You will want to look at that code and find the numbers after partner ID:
Example: availabilityapi_version=4&hotels=[{"ta_id":000,"partner_id":"0000","partner_url":""}]&s
The 4 numbers after the partner ID is what you will need.
6) Then just take that number and update your listing in IR and your all set.
Ignore the Trip Connect links. Don't worry, your not listing with them. John said if we get enough users that connect with us, he will write a new external connection for us.
Let me know if you have any questions. John can help as well. Im not sure when he will post on his Forum but hopefully its soon and we can get a bunch of new users from RK.

Somehow my login on Innrewards seems to have become disconnected from my property listing, so I don't seem to have access to edit the listing and add my RK id number?

I don't use Trip Connect/Trip Advisor so don't have this under ResKey. I do have an external connection to Booking but don't see anywhere that it shows my 4-digit ResKey member number.

Arks, you have to pretend that you are signing up for TripConnect (if you are not already using it) -- just follow the process far enough to see the link that has your property ID in it. Then just don't do anything further, and you won't be signed up for TripConnect....

Just send me a support requests and I will see whats going on. I should be back home in about an hour. My son is just finishing up a baseball game.

You are correct. John will make us a link if enough people sign up. You all are welcome to mention it on the RK forum as well. I plan on mentioning this as soon as I can.

For now just email me through the support email for InnRewards with your property ID #. They ran into a problem when they uploaded this feature and are working to fix it. I can add it manually no problem. Sorry for the issue!

Good morning. This is for RK users. If you get a chance to go on the forum and post about IR, I would appreciate it. It seems they might need a little encouragement. I know Gillumhouse did already and I thank you. We really need to get things moving with this if we can. Its been a ton of effort and I don't want it to go to waste.
Thanks.

It is done. Yes, they'll need to see some support for anything new before they'll show much interest.
