Please help!

If you know what my website is would you please go take a look to see if the TA badge is all the way at the bottom of the page? I have made a few changes to my site this hour, saved them and exited WP. Although all of the changes are IN WP when I log in, none of them show online in the live site.
I have tried different browsers thinking the cache is not clearing properly. They are all the same.
Just let me know if you see the TA badge. Thanks.

Yes. At the bottom just below Contact info.

It shouldn't be there. I deleted it because of the slow load time. Something isn't talking to something else in the wp software.
It still says the April events as well even tho in wp the changes all show May. Just not live.
I'll work on it tomorrow when I'm fresh!

You will see it in the sidebar, click on the DELETE button.

Yes! That did it! Thanks. It doesn't know when changes are made to widgets.
Losing the ta badge seems to have helped the load speed as well. Maybe it's because it's in a widget and I should just embed it in the page itself. Same with the google map.

When something has to call up from another site, it slows down load times. But I have really never noticed that big a time delay on any other sites. Plenty of them use them. Don't know if it is because it is the widget or not?

That's why I'll put it back but embedded in the text instead of a widget.
Same with the google map. Not in a widget but in the text.
Those two things seemed to be the culprits. And it could just be where they were located.

Get the badge as a GIF and hyperlink it. No love lost. Faster load time. If you want them to go to TA in the first place, maybe you only want the IMAGE and no leaving your site? Going to booking.com over there and thinking they are on your site still.
I delete my cache so often they godaddy is starting to call me Johnny.

Yep several sites, I just use the IMAGE / badge and a link to it as well.

Thanks. Will take a look but I'm telling you, just doing a couple of updates here and there and not diving into this deeply, most of these instructions are over my head.
But I do have time this week so I might try. Mostly because I think the plug in is what's causing the hiccup when the page loads. I don't think it can handle the slide show.

I do tons of slideshows on every site I make and I have no problem with them and they are lots bigger than what you have. I think you really ought to post a question on the forum. I am sure the guys would be very happy to assist you. They are great!

Just added the TA badge without a link. Great idea. Thank you! Will now get the Google map as a fixed image instead of an actual interactive map.
Website has sped up tremendously without the TA badge in the widgets slowing things down.

Can't win...got the new google map, which loads quickly. But if I pull in close I get the B&B next door's name. If I go out a little bit I get the B&B down the street. I think I'll just stick with my nicely drawn map.
