Hotels and restaurants are being targeted by “blackmailers” who demand free meals and stays in exchange for not writing bad reviews on the TripAdvisor website, hospitality chiefs have warned.

If you wanted hotel facilities you should have booked a hotel and paid hotel prices!!!

And of course TA frowns on blackmail, so get your evidence in order and turn them in BEFORE the review is posted. Telling TA in advance of a blackmail threat gives you credibility if something bad, and false, is posted.
