Today's lesson is... even if you fix it, they will complain, because they don't know you fixed it.
Today's second lesson is... don't buy expensive American-Made metal shower heads, people instead much prefer that you buy cheap Chinese-Made shower heads that have been painted to look like metal and cost about 1/3rd of the price.
Oh? And of course both have the exact same specifications of water-flow. But of course they will soon tell me that this cheap one is so much better than the expensive one that I bought before.
Anyone want to be a nice used high quality metal Moen shower head?

At least they knew you had a shower head! Our shower heads are small, water savors with a great spray.
We had a guest that stayed a night at the beginning of her trip, then again at the end. On her return visit she had booked another room.
As I was taking her to her room she asked if this room had a shower. I was puzzled as all rooms have a shower. She said the other one was missing the shower head so she had to take a bath.

Of course it was there, she did not try it. The next morning she was singing its praises!
 
That person just read the previous review and did not take a moment to think for themselves.
We ended up buying shower heads that you can swivel but there are no other adjustments, with the lowest flow we could find at the time.
Solved tons of problems. Everyone now has water when they shower and the jets are really super.
I bought them based on one review: I have long, thick hair and the shower head gets all the soap out.
I know you don't have a problem with anything but the guests so make sure your response says all the shower heads have been replaced with the latest model. Not when. Just that they have been. You won't get that comment again.

I was looking online and the company that I do like best happens to have one for about the same price (not as many functions). But I really prefer Μoεn to Δ. I have to order it online. I'll keep the one I bought today, but order more, just in case and to test out.
And yes, I will reply in the next few days and point out that it has been changed.

We got ours thru american hotel register. I don't usually use them because everything is so expensive and shipping is a bear. But the review got me.
I was really worried about lousy water pressure and not getting the hair rinsed.
We have changed the shower heads at least 3 times now until we hit on these.
These improved everyone's shower by so reducing the amount of water that now every shower works every time.

We got ours thru american hotel register. I don't usually use them because everything is so expensive and shipping is a bear. But the review got me.
I was really worried about lousy water pressure and not getting the hair rinsed.
We have changed the shower heads at least 3 times now until we hit on these.
These improved everyone's shower by so reducing the amount of water that now every shower works every time.

Which one? I see three and one of them is a version of the M... brand that I'm looking at buying.

I used to wonder if anyone could tell the difference. I paid the premium price for premium OJ. Then one morning I heard one lady say to her friends in an amazed tone of voice, "This is REAL orange juice!!"

Helpful hint given to us by the PO - Squeeze one real orange into store bought orange juice. Makes it look and taste fresh squeezed. (We have never done this, but I remember her telling us.)

Those candid moments are a real joy, when guests say something nice not knowing you are in earshot.
And you're right, I should not allow 1 guest to dictate policy.

I read that somewhere, too. Have never done it but thought about it a couple of times with people who sneer that they got fresh squeezed at xyz inn and they charge half the price!
 
Okay, so last night I ordered two new shower heads with the handles. To be honest, I'm not holding up a lot of hope for the handles, we have had bad experiences with them before. But hey, got to try.
In the fall, we have to get wall panels made and all the shower controls changed. Stupidly we didn't have panels installed originally and we have already suffered the consequences. The original plumber put in cheap shower controls. I'm replacing them all with ɱɶɴ which are guaranteed for life. What a pain!

We redid all the shower controls as well to add scald guard. It was an adventure but worth it. With the new shower heads and the new controls all of the shower complaints went away. Even mine.
