Tough Nuts

Innkeepers are some tough nuts to crack!
I was trying to figure out what got me so worked up with the "lease my inn" thing, so I 'm reading the other responses trying to see what others have to add.
I guess it just hit a nerve that someone would think they could just "lease the inn" It made me feel like a used car.
Then I found myself reading between the lines as the responses came in. Innkeepers are like iron. The stories we have about the risks we have taken, the mountains we have climbed, and the determination we have shown is not to be taken lightly.
Don't mess with an innkeeper.

but on the other side of it - there are people who buy inn's to lease out as a business as long as they get the rent they aren't bothered.
You are seeing it as most of us see it - its our business we have worked hard to build up and would hope to pass it on to someone who gives a monkeys - but you have to see it from the other side
(1) the buy to let crowd
(2) the just want to get out crowd

That is SO true... I love the "gives a monkeys"
Some of us have a child and some of us just need a tax break.
