Long termer (3 mos). Left yesterday. Really very good. No damage and clean. But the kitties (2) still left hair. Cleaned top to bottom side to side overhead and under carpet. Even the doormat is cat hair free. Plus all the rest of the deep clean, complete laundry etc...Whew. Tired.
Ok tell a lie. Windows not yet washed. That's why they make tomorrow.
Next guests in the apt Fri.

One deep clean after a 3-month booking. It's worth it!

Yes indeed. Part of me thinking - just a delayed Spring cleaning. The cat hair did put a delay into the works though. Extremely fine. Fortunately I've got a great brush for a little Hoover that is amazing at getting up hair of all kinds, from even the stickiest, most cling-y rug types.
Wasn't done till late. Need good light to do the windows.
The area carpet should be nice and dry by the time I get home today.

Sounds like you put it through the cleaners! Do you have any friends that are allergic and could put it through a real test? I have heard that cat hair & dander is the worst.
An innkeeper friend of mine told me he once had a guest that brought a cat for a stay in their cabin. He was unaware until he went to refresh and the cat almost pounced on him from above. Anyhow, after they checked out he cleaned top to bottom, inside out so to speak. A year passed with numerous guests and numerous cleanings then a guest with allergies walked in and the reaction was instant. They said 'there has been a cat in here, we can't stay'.

My reaction would not be immediate, but I would feel horrible after a few hours in the house if there had been a cat. When we stay with family that has a cat, I have to take allergy pills and wash everything the day.
