What do you do for fun for 4th of July breakfast?
I'm looking at fruit kabobs and blueberry and strawberry muffins. Almost too easy.
Do you dress up the room or the food for 4th of July? What about other holidays?

I decorate the tables and outside. Red, White and blue foods. We have to hurry up and get outside for the parade so we don't overdo on the breakfast. If guests are not staying over they race out the door so they don't get stuck here for an hour.
Other holidays like Christmas I do put small decorations in the rooms.
Otherwise I'm not really a holiday decorator.

Of course I have been looking at g oogle and pin terest and all over the place. I thought I would ask the innkeepers for a more personal insight. And I also thought it might be a fun conversation.

Each year I do the same thing...strawberries & blueberries with whipped cream. Red, White and Blueberries. That's about it. I'm not one that does special stuff for holidays, except the decor for Christmas.

I went with stars and red white and blue.
I made watermelon stars and served them in a bowl with blueberries.
I also made red, white and blue yogurt parfaits and topped them with a watermelon star.
And strawberrie and blueberrie muffins.
The fruit was a big hit. The muffins just looked like muffins.
I posted a picture of it on our FB page and website.
I do love a theme party.

This is what I did for the 4th. The muffins were chopped bing cherries and blueberries in my Surprise Muffins.
