Does anyone know if there is a way for someone to do a mgt response or delete reviews from b an b dot com? Seems to me if you are paying them for your listing the big bucks, you should have some control over what is posted about your inn? I am asking for a friend. Thanks!

If she goes into their innkeepers section, clicks into "Reviews" and then "Reviews on your listing" under each review it should say "Respond to this review"

Regretfully, online comments - at this stage of the web technology game - are pretty much a one-way-street. Reviews, by their nature, were designed to give the good, bad, and ugly of guest experiences. Otherwise they are deceptive. The flip side is that civility and manners (and even TRUTH) tend to vaporize with these online powerplays. Reviews are a two-edged sword. For us, it takes a WHOLE lot of effort to "bury" a bad review under a pile of good ones. It is very important, however, to address the "criticism" in a positive, well-mannered way....then move on. Or shall I say....BURY on....

Thanks ...he just told me he found that. It wasn't a terrible review, but enough to justify a comment. Definitely were not B & B people.

El, tell your friend this as well for future knowledge.
Regarding removal of review on B&B: If there is a bad review from someone that was not a guest, the B&B can contact bandb .com and state such. bandb.com will contact the reviewer and ask for proof of their stay, if none is provided they will remove the review.
There may be some exceptions to this if the reviewer stays on the subject of the real issue (i.e. booking/cancellation issues).
