PAII is pleased to announce our new President & CEO, Ruth Ann Hattori. After a very successful career in the apparel industry where she built Rocky Mountain Clothing Company from zero to over $50 million annually, Ruth Ann became Executive Director and Co-Founder of InnovationNetwork® (IN) – producers of the first ever, annual business innovation conference in the US and leaders of an association of innovators.
After 11 years, the Innovation Convergence Conference was retired and Ruth Ann dove into training and consulting including many well-known hospitality companies such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Pelican Hill Resort, Exclusive Resorts and more.

Ruth Ann will begin her PAII duties on July 1, 2014. We are very excited to have Ruth Ann aboard, and are confident that her leadership will strengthen PAII today and for the future.
Please join us in welcoming Ruth Ann.

I just got the e-mail. Still not giving them 249 per year.

Since they represent innkeepers far and wide, I wish her all the best in this endeavor.

I wish her the best and success. B & Bs NEED an advocate.....

Thanks for letting us know. I sure hope she leads PAII down a good path for the future and will represent ALL of the B&B industry - Large or Small, Over the top or Mom and Pop equally and fairly.

My membership renews in Oct. It'll be a tough decision..
THIS IS ALL OF THE TOP OF MY HEAD AND IS JUST WHAT I AM THINKING AT THIS MOMENT. I could be convinced otherwise.
We are not members and it is unlikely we will join. I wonder how a "for profit" organization can fairly represent me with the people that they will make money with. I would say it has returned to the, " I am a member of PAII" marketing value, which strikes me as quite limited in this day and age.

Well Haps, I am commenting just like each B&B here represents all of us as a whole. Not discussing the value of PAII or anything like that. Did I "convince you otherwise?" :)
Cheers, off to a nice dinner with the man I love. You may even call it a date.
