The Feds came knocking

Yesterday a park ranger (gun and all) came knocking on the front door. I always get a bit nervous when I see Smoky Bear at my door step, but this time it was GOOD news! Remember the couple that let themselves into the house and used our private bathroom? Well I complained to a ranger that afternoon, he passed the word up the chain of command, and VOILA! Today we have an official sign to post that says
"Private Home
Be Courteous and Respect Owners Rights"
I don't know if a sign will keep the real PITAs at bay...but I sure will feel better posting it on our fence post.

That is great, and very nice. Lots of people do not realize that even though we open our doors to paying guests, it is still a PRIVATE residence.

I had a dream just last night about people just walking in and making themselves at home, while others just drove up and spread out a picnic in our gardens. I was running around like a crazy person..
