For once, it's legit!
Full house for twelve nights, booked by a travel agency overseas, paid in advance. I would not have believed the booking request if I hadn't had a heads up from the local guy who referred them.
And these guests are not a "delegation of greek priests" or whatever the latest scam is, they're a film crew from the bee bee cee! Arrived yesterday; such a great start to the summer season!

Zowwie!!

Wonderful! I'll bet they don't want the Full English Breakfast for 12 days. If you're lucky, they'll want something simple/light after a few days.

Well, I don't do a "Full English" but I'll give them a "Full Canadian" for as long as they want it. :) These are young fellas and they'll be outside in the woods all day so I think they'll have pretty hearty appetites. I'm doing packed lunches for them every day, too.

.
The Full Canadian? A Tim's Double Double and a muffin?

Boy...talk about lucky. Hope they will be good guests and respect your property. You know group mentality sometimes.

The beeb as its called in the Uk are usually well behaved as they are usually so tired they couldn't get into trouble if they tried! plus they don't dare (with social media etc) it getting back to their bosses - wouldn't worry too much if they are teckies don't tend to be prima donnas.

Great news! They will be great guests I am sure as usually business guests are.

Give us the skinny of what they are filming - that is when you can.

Thanks, everyone!
I love the b b c!!! Back when stations still broadcast analogue, we could pick up our provincial public tv and they showed lots of beeb programming -- gorgeous stuff. Our guys are here to shoot film bears at a local bear rehab. Part of a nature series of wildlife from around the world.
They're all fairly young fellas (then again, everyone seems to be getting younger and younger each year) and I hope they have time to enjoy some of the area while they're here. I'm not worried about them being a group.
I may be the only innkeeper on here who loves groups! They usually move en masse, have a designated spokesperson/organizer, enjoy each other's company (or at least are used to each other if not), and don't disturb any other guests because they're the only ones here. I'm sure this crew will be extra easy since they are here on their employer's dime.

that is amazing! most emails about group bookings for long stays from foreign countries turn out to be bogus - so this is especially wonderful. so happy for you.
