Only Need Stable

RANT!!
I have a listing on a horse site and have in BOLD - PLEASE NOTE: The farmer only overnights the horses of my guests
Yesterday I got an e-mail asking about availability for this weekend and asking cost- and she found us on this particular web site Got permission to take the reservation .
E-mailed costs & available with permission granted to take the reservation and told her about the way we escort to the stable. She replies with they do not need the B & B as they have quarters in the trailer, can she call the farmer directly. I replied with a restatement of he only stables the horses of my guests. Today I got the following:
Hi, it's so sorry for the junior who need to stop after 12 hours of road. Thank's for getting back to me.
I started to reply that is this is a business and that I pay all marketing expenses but decided that was none of her business. This is how I answered - I added spacing so this will not show up in a search..
Yes, I do feel for the horses. I also understand that there are very few places that offer overnight stabling. I had not thought of it until the farmer told me his son was trying to start a stable. That was many years ago. I know there is Xxxxxay Sta bles at S A lxxxxs, about 2.5 to 3 hours further south, just west of Charleston. I do not know anything other than they are there.
Have a safe trip.
What I did not say since I only know from people who book here after the other, there is no turn around room. If they have quarters in the trailer, it is a large rig. READ what I say on my blurb folks!! This is not the first time someone pulled this. The worst was the woman who after I escorted her to the stable and had the horses in the stalls informed me they had a room at the hotel down the road for $39 per - and that was the last horse rez that did not have a cc#

Why not treat it like breakfast but in reverse? Make the stabling a package that includes the room and breakfast. It's only available as a package. You don't have to take the room and the breakfast, but that's the price.

I did when I started it NOWEVER the insurance company (bless their little pea-pinkin' hearts) said if I touch the money they will not cover me. ALTHOUGH i AM PROBABLY ALREADY ON THE HOOK, IT MADE SENSE TO SEPARATE THINGS. crap, not shouting, just hit caps.

Arrange it with the farmer and get him set up for square. He charges the full amount and pays you
Heck, he could set up a square account, you could process for him and then he just needs to write you a cheque for your part.

I am often the only person the horse people see. He and I have no problem with things the way they are - it is the stupid people who do not read or comprehend if they do read. Or else it is the "I am special so exceptions will be made for me" attitude.

You have the stable package on your website and it is VERY CLEAR but do not have it on the Rez Key.
I would add it to Rez Key. Let it be known when you sent the confirmation that the charges will be separate. MAKE them book through YOUR SITE.
This will be nothing new so if the ins is ok with you placing it on your site, then this is really no different.
Another thought - are these people seeing your add on the Horse site? They may not go any further and just call. Or may not find it on your site at all. Your Specials page is fairly lengthy BTW! (as a side note I would make a special page for your elopements - make it stand out)

It is listed on my Specials but states I do not touch stable money - that is the difference. I used to have a Package price. It is rare to be found through my site by horse people. This is just a rant/vent mostly because the stupid woman thought she could pull my chain with sympathy for the horse. My opinion is that it is HER responsibility to that horse to provide proper care. Horse people rarely go a Goo gle for stables - they go to the sites they trust - and i am on several of them.
