The products I currently provide (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash) are no longer available wholesale. Can you recommend toiletries that you use and that your guests really like? Thanks.

I use Gilchrist & Soames. The link is to their hoteliers page. Contact them and let them know you're an inn and you will get wholesale pricing.

We buy one called "Serenity." We buy it for the name and the color (green.) Fits our theme.

Gilchrist & Soames for us as well, guests like them. I don't like strong smelling products and their oatmeal soaps and other products are great.

Most places will be happy to send samples so you can see what they smell and feel like.

There's a new amenities supplier on the block. They do have a sales person who has a long experience selling to B&B's and small hotels with other companies. I've been using their products since this spring, and one of my guests was absolutely effusive about the soap. Reminds me of Do ve, it seems to get used up more quickly, but she liked all the lather. They give no prices on their website that I could see. Care to give a ballpark figure?

Why does no one put pricing on their products? Just looked at GB which I haven't in ages..and again..no prices? I am not shopping somewhere I can't see prices in advance. Not a user friendly site if I have to call someone and not way to order on line either...BIG turnoff for me.

Lots of places only show prices after you log in, and they only give log in info to verified inns.

Go to American Hotel Register. They offer tons of options. You are sure to find something there. And here at SYS Co.
Are AHR prices for real? I could go bankrupt paying those prices.

I have a log-in at AHR and often check them when I'm shopping for something for the business. I ALWAYS end up buying somewhere else. AHR has a huge selection but the prices are just way to high.

We have had great success using premium products (i.e. Neutrogena Rainbath NEXUS) in large containers. We have open walk in showers and a shelf where they can be displayed nicely. We think it says abundance and guests really like that we have top shelf bath products.
The larger size may not work unless you have a nice way to display it for first impressions, but it allows us to go brand name premium. We also provide full bars of deodorant soap. They aren't much more expensive and guests really appreciate a full bar. We think of that as an amenity for each guest, since it is so wasteful. We also provide a complimentary locally made face soap that is by the sink area. Guests can buy them as well in our gift shop. We do buy boxed shower caps.

Thanks everyone. I've contacted many sites and asked for samples. I am so disappointed with having to give up Crabtree & Evelyn but apparently they have an exclusive with Hilton now.

That's the dopiest thing I've ever heard! Exclusive? Maybe an exclusive LINE but they really think Hilton is going to stay with them? They lose all their other hotel business for a couple of years of Hilton business and then have to start all over again.

My thoughts exactly!! I've been using them for 16 years!
