So, I know you have talked about this, but here it is again. They are casting for the be ac h fr on t bar gins show, and we just got an email, from our re alator. I guess we could go ahead and fill out the questionnaire but, of what value is this to us? Exposure, we could use that. More tourists in our Non-Cancun town, could use that as well. While I love HGTV (before I cancelled cable 2 years ago), I just don't know...

beach front bargains are all for sale on the show and people come look at it. not one of their more popular shows. i think a summer fill in???
is your place for sale? if so why not? at least it is GOOD station and no drama on your part..you wont even be seen in the show.

Would you be the buyer they are featuring? If so, I would do it. You could talk up what you are looking for and what your goals are. How you would convert this and that, blah blah blah.
A lot of the people who are on those shows have already bought their property.
The show really focuses on the search and the property not on the buyer and their ridiculous must have list.
Ever notice how everyone needs entertaining space? Are you kidding me? I want a potting shed I can convert into a little queendom all my own!
Entertain yourself!

Yes, we would be the buyer looking. They should have been with us last summer! We could talk all of that up.
And yes, actually, we did just buy last month. But we still have places around here that look like, well, you know...so it was a bargin!
We didn't need entertaining space, just someplace that we could afford and potential!

not for sale, we just bought. so we would be looking for something. and there are some real dumps around here, and then some with CRAZY asking prices.
i don't mind it being not a center piece show, I kinda shy away from all that Holly wood non sense. But we could sure use some reservations!

Hey if you want to go for it! See if they can offer you some start up $ (most give some sort of stipend to be on the show) every little bit counts!

But the way the show works is you look at the dumps but you also look at the place you bought. Like it's still for sale!
Then you get to talk up what you would do with it! "Oh, if we bought this place we would..." And you tell all the stuff you're doing but in the future tense!

I would. It's a house hunters show, so you can be normal. The home improvement shows are tough because they like to show the bickering.
