I don't know if this has ever been addressed here, but my business has been listed on C-L and some $hitbag that stole my pictures has put it there as a vacation rental. I've been contacted twice by innocent people to confirm where to send their money and with additional questions about the rental. It's all being handled by authorities, and the listing has been removed, but I also put a CL post out there warning people that may have fallen for it. I got lucky in that I think it was only out there for a couple days, and I pray to God no one comes knocking on my door with 15 people in tow, expecting to stay here because they sent in their deposit. I would just be sickened by having to turn them away because now their money is gone, they have nowhere to stay, and a family vacation has been ruined and those memories don't go away.
I urge you all to check your towns on CL and look under "vacation rentals" to ensure your inn or property is not listed.
