Looking for a thread to hide this in, and since it was funny, this one will do!

A guest here for two days in a moo moo. Yes I said moo moo. Full table for breakfast, and she was in her moo moo both mornings. Only mentioning it because it is another first. Never had this happen before. cool

HappyKeeper would spell it mu'umu'u

Would you feel better if they came down in a kaftan?

Okay gee thanks, see this is why I say you know it all, it actually was more of a kaftan than a moo moo.

I had several ladies come to breakfast in them. Also in our bathrobes. I was kind of surprised but hey it covered them up. Better than those coming down in skin tight tank tops and short shortsSmiling

Yes when it is a full house it is another thing. If they are the only guests and sneak down for a coffee or something, I can understand, sorta.

As per point #2, they paid for it they want to show it off. (it, them, those, everything...let it all hang out)

Speaking of sneaking in for coffee... This exchange took place this morning...

Guest drags into the kitchen, in pajamas, eyes half shut, with a coffee pod in her hand. She stands at the counter saying and doing nothing.

I ask her if the pod is a hot chocolate. (Remember we put the keurig away at breakfast.)

She tells me it's coffee.

I say the machine is put away.

She says, in the most world weary tone, "you have *got* to be kidding me."

She's 10.

With the current trends, I'm still tempted to have a sign that flashes for the ladies saying "That's not pants!" with this flow chart...

I prefer street clothes rather than bathrobes or pj's or lounge wear. But we've seen it all. Well, not all, but a lot!

Honestly, I was in SHOCK the first time a guest came down in PJs. It's happened twice in my career. WTF were they thinking?

I remember when those became very popular in the late 50's, early 60's after Hawaii became a state.
