Seven bedrooms - 2 bathrooms!

Heard of new B&B that opened recently. They have 7 bedrooms (with 2+ guests max occupancy each) and only 2 shared bathrooms (?!) Makes me wonder who would want to share the bathroom with potentially 10+ guests each morning.

omy! my old place had one room with private bath on first floor, one room with private bath on second and three rooms shared a bath on second, three rooms shared a bath on the third. ugh!

I have 2 bedrooms sharing 1 beautiful bathroom and unless I have them booked together they are last to book.

we had this on 4 in a bed 3 double bedrooms shared 1 bathroom ie 6 people. Owner was all "guests are fine with it" - guarantee they aren't when they need a wee and someone is having a bath.
Also they had a bath - felt a shower alone would encourage less water and to be in and out.

I had 3 with shared for 10 years. Reached a certain revenue point and could never get above that. FINALLY DH made a statement about the situation and I had him boxed in where he HAD to sign the loan papers to add a bathroom. THAT opened things up. The cost buried me but have made enough with that private bath that I am climbing out of the sub-sub-basement of the Bla ck Ho le of Calc u tta. I still have (and always will have) 2 rooms sharing but my work-around is that for the private rate, the third room will not be rented. Sometimes they want the budget room to save money or will take the queen thinking no one else will book so why pay the extra $15 (and often they find themselves sharing - sorry, NOT).
IF I could, there would be all private baths.
