Hoping anyway. The weather was really bad here today. Torrential downpours. Water was 2" deep on the sidewalks in some places, including my own sidewalks.
Hoping this person got caught in the rain and that they aren't always this grumpy.
Breakfast time was totally unacceptable. Person has to eat at 7:30. Absolutely.
You know, how about asking instead of demanding?
Will see what happens tomorrow. This is now my 8th day of early breakfast. I'm beat!

Golly. You seem to get more than your share of demanding guests. Are they mostly there seeking retail therapy in town?

Ah, that explains it. Not much of a vested interest in staying there. The transients do tend to be more demanding.

No. Mostly on their way somewhere else.
.
I always thought of your town as a destination :)
.
On our trips to Maine, we were going windjammer cruising. We stopped there on the way home and on one trip I made that the first night destination. It was farther than I thought - that trip I was one of the ones Maddie would like to crown with a hammer or an ax. It was more than 800 miles from where I lived in Illinois! This was before you could goo the time/distance. I was in eastern PA when I realized how far we still had to go and called. We got there though! And I cannot remember a thing about that B & B other than it was nice.

We seem to have the most issues with the one nights who are simply using us as the launch on or off pad from airports that are about an hour from here.. If they are on their way home, they are usually much grumpier. Also, the need for an earlier breakfast,,,

My boys from the beeb needed 7am breakfast for most of their 12 mornings, which was early for me, but at least they were pleasant and cheerful no matter how tired they may have been.

My earliest this year: 4:30a. And here, that's fine. They wanted to be out and fishing, and my normal get up time is 3:30 - 4a anyway. I'm so a morning person, but don't expect me to be very together after 5 pm. The evening dinners are the tired-making ones for me. Reminds me of back in the restaurant server days of waiting for that last table to get along home so we could close up and go home!

We do a 7:30 breakfast. It says POST on the box..
