Has anyone noticed changes in Google rankings since the new Pigeon algo took effect around July 25th?
 
Why worry? Nothing anyone can do about it. I didn't even know they changed:) Wasn't that Pigeon thing something they did for April Fools one year?? See this:

I might try to get some google reviews. I don't even have the 5 necessary to count. And a g+ page. Something that drive me nuts over the winter and that I gave up on.
I have 3 g+ pages with varying versions of my inn name and no idea how that happened. None of them link to my website so I just gave up figuring it out. Shouldn't have to be s rocket scientist to have a g+ page.

I had two gee plus pages and it was confusing as all hockeysticks. I can't remember if I phoned ggl or contacted them online and they called me, but I actually had a human talk me through what to do (and even did some of it form me on his end) until it was all resolved. It was wonderful. When you're ready to tackle it again, try getting phone help.

A friend did this, too. They got just so far and told him what I'm afraid to hear - we don't know why it doesn't work for you.
Something to do in Sept, when it slows down for a week or so.
