She's back...

Our detached bath guest room is back online and now I will be back here with horror stories of guests demanding their money back because we lied and gave them a shared bath for the lesser and at times much lesser room rate than our other rooms.
If you have noticed I have been absent from sharing those stories myself, but feeling the pain with all of you who have a detached (not in the room, not ensuite, but outside the guest room bathroom). Yep, she's back!

We can cry together.

I am using this phrase before the price all over the place

It is no guarantee, we already know that. But it is there again and again...
People don't read. Nope.

How about being over the top blatent and humorous about it? Include a picture of the door with a funny saying over it on your room listing. Make fun of how 'quaint' it is but how smart they are to be able to save $$ by getting this room for so cheap, yet receive the same private experience?

it's a beautiful room - (i want to be IN it). people are just silly if they don't understand it now.

You know if I had people that were fun who book that room I would do that, but typically they aren't the fun people who book it. The fun people pay for the higher priced rooms. Yes there is a correlation. Same with the tipping correlation.
But thank you for bringing it to my attention. Funyn how certain rooms or prices attract certain people, we all have these "biases" from experience at each inn we operate.
Oh and btw, I am not trying to work out how to market this room, at all. In fact we were good with it being out of circulation and filling up the other 5 rooms. But we did put in a new toilet, new bed, and more for it (not finished yet) but getting there. I prefer people to book the rooms that cost more.

And I have someone coming in Wednesday who booked the small room (shared) because she has allergies. It is my feather-free room.
