Just posted a change from our Thursday night specials, the price went up 4 pesos. Which is about .30. Got a FB message saying "I don't think so". OMG- The old owners were charging more than 25 pesos more for this same dinner! Wow! And this person has been nothing but nice to me. Just wow!

Everybody always wants things to go 100% in their favor.
Human nature gets tiresome.

It's not easy being the boss.
If the Po's were charging more why does this person think the price went up?

Yeah, sometimes people just need to think before they talk. Just think. And 30 cents. How about cut back on a drink if you can't swing that.

Very much so. Agree! And really, .30 in your favor, does that make you feel like you are scoring a deal?

Everyone grumbles about a price increase no matter how small.

Food prices have increased a lot in the past 6 months.

If they don't like the price, let them go somewhere else. Once they realize every place has increased, they'll be back.
One clever tactic I found restaurants doing when needing to raise prices is to raise the price of the drinks... many places are up to $2.95 for tea/soda while leaving their meal prices untouched.
Most people don't look at drink prices.
