Can't believe it is August! One year!

We moved in on August 28, 2013!! Hard to believe it's been a year. And what we have accomplished! The construction, the Serve Safe Cert, the learning to bake, the reworking of the rooms with TVs, AC, hair dryers, new sheets, new toilet seats.......
No wonder I'm exhausted!! But so very happy.
I was thinking of giving our guests one year anniversary goody bags. Any ideas? I thought of local magnets with either a picture of the town or a recipe for chowder, fudge from the local candy maker. What else? Maybe a 10% off coupon for future visits?

one of my companies did cupcakes with the 40's years as a rice paper thing - they were super yummy!

What ever you do to celebrate, your guests will be thrilled.

You could use this celebration to possibly bump your bookings by creating a special & sending it out to all your guests from year 1.

Local recipes printed on the back of postcards. You can make the postcards yourself with the recipes on the back or front. Take some local photos of the house, the pond, the beach.
I still have one I got with the recipe for rattlesnake.
