Extra person or two? Or eight?

DH was on the phone and I heard this, "It has a king size bed.....Yes, it's spacious....In the bed?...Well, how many are you thinking?... NO.....No, we don't do that.....No."
He hangs up and says to me, "We don't do slumber parties." I said, "How many did they want to bring?"
"Ten!"
LOL 10 people in one bedroom with one bathroom. Ummmmmmmm..... NO!!!!!!!!!!
In the live and learn department - always ask how many in the party.

Always ask. First question. Before the date even.
And I always forget. Last time it was a family of 5 wanting one room.
We did have a senior prom party try to book one room for 20 people.

Caller: Do you have any rooms available for Sunday?
Me: Yes, we do. You need one bed for one night for two adults, no children?
If it's yes to all, we're golden. If not, I've only wasted about ten seconds on the phone with them.

Just recently had a party of 4 that booked small 1 bedroom apartment and then tried to smuggle 10 more. No way we would have that!! Luckily we had more bedrooms available and made them pay for it.

we've always had this for the Bridal fairs - models book a self catering apartment for 2 - have about 10 in there. Friend of mine use to do self check in but not at that time ie saw every person in to make sure there wasn't 6 more stood their with their sleeping bags.
