Bananas!

Seriously, when I ask you if you have any dietary restrictions, just tell me them. This guy says that he doesn't eat meat or eggs -ok no problem! Next day, he's standing at the kitchen bar counter watching me prepare his breakfast and I'm chopping fruit and stirring pots and chatting nicely with him. Then when I go place the dish in front of him come breakfast-time he exclaims, "OH! Well I can't eat bananas! Or avocados! Or grapefruit. Sorry about that! I suppose I should have mentioned something earlier!" Of course, these things are all over the fricking place so I have to make a completely new dish. Also, he was standing right there as I was making everything! What the hell. Really. I think people like that should just get nothing for breakfast.

I agree! Give him nothing. Maybe he can pick something up on the way out of town!! Seriously.

my sister just announced her new 'can't have' list because of prescriptions and i'm at the point of 'what CAN you have?!' seriously. but she doesn't go anywhere.

It's weird. Some guests think everything is theirs. Other guests think nothing is theirs.
I had a guest who was only getting coffee look at the breakfast I was plating for someone else and say to me, "we don't eat that!!!" Like it was poison. It wasn't even her breakfast!
