How to: delete message on your Facebook business page?

I have a bunch of spam on my FB messages list. I have marked them as spam, I have highlighted and deleted them, nothing makes them go away. Whenever I get a new message from anyone all the old crap is still there, all still 'unread', all still making me nuts!
How do you make them go away???

have you shut down your computer? They might be in some sort of cache.....just guessing though.

Cleared cache, the whole thing. I deleted, reported as spam, etc one of them weeks ago. It keeps popping up.

Haven't tried that because these are direct messages. I'll look for the block button. I'm getting more of them.
