I want an air conditioner that is made for innkeepers....
On the unit are two controls... one for ON and OFF and another the allows people to set the temperature to Cool or Cooler.
What I don't want... other options. That's right, I don't don't them to be able to change the temperature beyond two presets, cool and cooler. I don't want an "energy saver" setting (it should default to this) and I don't want a setting for speed either.
There should be a way for me to set what "cool" and "cooler" are, but the guest shouldn't need to know this. And NO temperature gauge for the guests.
This is my dream. This is the air conditioner I would put in every room. I wouldn't have to reset it each day because people don't understand Celsius, Fahrenheit or even flippin' signs that are there to help them in spite of not knowing Celsius or Fahrenheit. They don't understand that lower temperatures don't make the air conditioner work faster, just longer and noisier. They don't understand what any of those pictograms signify. Just make it so simple that great grandma could use it.
