It is 5:35 AM. DH is making his breakfast. I have made a pot of coffee for the guests that will be on a tray on the tea buffet. I am hoping your salt to keep the ice colder works. I put kosher salt in the bottom of a small crock. I will put ice and a partial carton of half & half in the crock. The guests were really nice about my reunion. They chose the sausage maker from Ohio as their restaurant. I got them a $30 card. The most expensive breakfast was $9.50 so I figured $10 + $2.39 for coffee and $2.50 for OJ x 2 and got $30 on the card. I am hoping to be on the road by 6:30. The parade of the classes starts at 10. I also told them about the couple that will be coming in so they are not startled by strangers. Have to leave a note for breakfast times.
I found a maple syrup maker in my home county. Have made arrangements to meet up on the way to the reunion to exchange my money for their syrup..Woohoo. And Anthony is going to cover for me at Chapel so we do not have to race back tonight.

No one can organize and time manage like an Inn Keeper! Have fun and enjoy yourself. Everything will be fine at home.

I love reading your streams of thought. Somehow they have a sense of suspense.

Had a great time. Himself was not as upset that we had an extra guest as he was that he PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY. I had him put up behind the guest and get out of the car and then I parked across the street in a parking lot I do not own. Apparently all got in OK. BOTH rooms marked 8:00 on the note I left for breakfast times. THAT works great for the Jones family reunion tomorrow. We are adopted Joneses as I grew up down the road from one of them and knew all her cousins who visited back then.
This whole weekend is working out famously. We got to Toronto in time for me to find my class for the parade of the classes. He went to go find a place to park. The first place he found had a sign blocking his view so he moved. He found a place to park, facing the street and right where my class stopped. He took the group pictures of those of us who marched walked the parade. We had a great time. The Senior who played the bari when I was a Freshman came up to our class picnic just to say hello to me. That was really nice. (His brother who was in my class dropped dead about a year ago.) One of my classmates was inducted into the Distinguished Alumni - not one of the 10 was a sports figure. Several were NASA scientists, one was a nurse with big time accomplishments, 3 were doctors, and my classmate is Mr. Volunteer (he and his wife had 19 foster children and among other things he organizes the Red Kettle bell ringers for the whole area for Christmas) A very good day of "who are you?"

It is sure neat to find out what classmates are into now. How they turned out as adults. I sure hope you are finding some time to rest and hear all you can . Enjoy

We came home after the awards dinner last night - I knew I had 2 rooms or breakfast, just did not know what time until I got home.We did not go to the mixers but had a good time at the cookout that was my reunion.
I was not sure about the unknown guest. When I had asked him via e-mail what coffee he wanted (the in-house coffee list was in the confirmation letter) he replied - "Jamaican Blue Mountain with 2 cubes of brown sugar and I will drink 3 cups". I replied, Blue mountain is not in-house nor in budget. I then included the in-house list again. He chose Costa Rica. They seem very nice this morning. Were appreciative of us taking their reservation
Now I am going to make more breakfast pizza to take to the Jones Family reunion - as soon as Himself clears my kitchen. I hate trying to work around him as HE cannot move - and when he does, it is right where I am going.
