I do wonder if some of these are real, and then I think of the questions I've been asked over the years.....
Complaints
No.12 made me laugh.

“Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers.”
I can sort of agree with this one, though of course was silly to mention it. Should probably say well-equipped rather than using the word "fully".

Thank you,.Thank you, HJ. This was so needed this Monday morning. Has made my day.

I've read that last one before..
Me too. But it was a married couple. They are really silly. Still, I can imagine someone going to a foreign country and saying 'no one spoke English'. duh
When I went to Scotland I met an American who complained to me that 'the Scottish accent was atrocious and why couldn't they speak proper English'. I told her I thought it was cool and just to listen carefully and she'd pick it up. She wanted to join me for a day's touring because I seemed to be having so much more fun than she was. No kidding! (I declined that offer)

Laughed so hard...reminded me of a review we had not too long ago....the sun was too bright, our river too rocky, everyone in our little town in central america spoke Spanish, the restaurants serve only latin food... surprisingly T A took the review down on their own. Go figure...but I kind of like that they did!

This reminds me of a poor TA review a neighbouring B&B received around here.... "had a great time, nice room, hosts etc -- but was unhappy because it snowed while we were there so it was difficult to drive to the house."
I felt pretty bad for the owners.

oh, man. putting your complaints about the weather on a review is ridiculous.

I remember being in a bar in Spain with a friend from the US, four American guys came in who recognized my friend from their hotel so stopped to say hi, whilst one of them went to the bar. A few minutes later he came back most disgruntled and said "They don't accept dollars!!!"

We were blamed for restaurants in town closing early-they were not able to have a dinner at midnight.
