I have a coffee maker with a built in filter, a secondary filter, which filters the coffee as it dispenses it.
This filter has micro sized mesh which has become clogged over time with coffee residue even though I clean the unit regularly with vinegar.
The dispenser now dispenses at a trickle leaving early morning coffee drinkers frustrated.
After cleaning it the best I could and still coming up with a trickle, I have now taken the thing apart and examined it to find that the filter is the culprit.
I have scrubbed it with a small cleaning brush and now only have the residue that is imbedded inside the mesh. Anyone have knowledge of a cleaning product that will work on this to loosen or dissolve the coffee particles?
This coffee maker makes great coffee and the way it (normally) dispenses keeps the coffee station clean.
