The wife of one of my house full of brothers told me one brother said he hoped they would not have the Indian coffee - Indian My sore Nuts is how he read it (that is Nuggets BTW). That is what I served today just to be a stinker. That lady is allergic to eggs, even IN baking. Yesterday they had baked oatmeal and apple cake made with no eggs (2 tbl water = 1 egg). This morning it was biscuits and gravy. I may start adding that to my rotation - made a double batch and only 3 biscuits and a bit of gravy was left.
Tomorrow will be the Crock Pot Cereal as I am covering for someone at Chapel tonight with my own hour (9:30 to Midnight). I will make a coffee cake in the morning to go with it. Monday will be egg bake with pancakes for her.
They are here for the boys' parents 50th Anniversary Party. Their Mom has been hanging on by her bloody fingernails to live long enough for this. She is in her 3rd bout with cancer.

I'm just wondering how she pronounce "Mysore nuts"... because that could make a sailor blush. :)
Is she allergic just to chicken eggs? I'm sure you can find a turkey egg or duck egg for her, no? :)

This group is wonderful. The lady who read the coffee list in that wacky way thought it was funny. She was unable to make the trip because her aunt is dying so had to be with her family instead of his. The no eggs has not been a problem at all. She is a real sweetie. Has been working her butt off to make the party today as perfect as possible for her in-laws. Crock pot cereal is cooking now. These are the least fussy guests I could have.
They have been appreciative of everything I have done. I did a video at the party and got almost all the vow renewal (had to change batteries during the preamble). Made DVD copies for each of the 4 sons and asked that one of them load it into the in-laws computer. Time for bed.

I am totally not understanding this thread, in the least. I just thought I would say that.

I added a space to help figure it out. The lady that was here (the lady who read it as nuts was not) said the Indian coffee was her favorite. (They had Brazil, Indian, Bolivia, and Maui)

And they brought me ALL the pots of mums they used as decor at the hanger (party was in the hanger at the farm where I stable the horses - Woody moved the planes to the side of the runway). There are so many they almost fill the front of the lawn where hedges used to be.

Just serve him the Kopi Luwak..
No thanks. I will stick with the My sore nuts coffee. If I get 5 pounds (and I usually buy in 5 pound increments) I get it for $4.60 per pound for the green beans. THAT is a price I like.
