Is he cunning? Sorry, couldn't avoid the joke. My fingers worked by themselves.

This person sure has received a lot of awards and recognition . Wow to accomplish so much . I am sure being in the right place at the right time would be of benefit. Plus a whole lot of work and long long hours.

Okay so more from this story:
My daughter was helping with breakfast yesterday and she walked into the kitchen and said "Mom that lady is eating her hash-browns with her orange slice."
I just smiled, I knew of all those at the table, who it had to be. She had the orange slice and was using it as a spoon to scoop up the hash-browns, which I thought was so funny. Yes, we do give our guests cutlery (if you are wondering).
There is more, but I won't bore you.
I thought of Jonno yesterday at check out when another couple were leaving and she turned to her husband and said "Do you want a few of these for later?" I felt like saying "Is this a grocery store? You check out and go back in and take all the guest goodies, apples, nuts, sodas?"
You know, we never run out, they go really really slow, so once in a blue moon it doesn't worry be to refresh the stock on some of these things. It is just a funny anomaly, as Jonno feels it is stealing.

Ugh, I can't tell you how many people take my cookies 'for the road'. No, they don't ask, they stand in front of me, grab a paper napkin and get themselves a pile of cookies. I grin and bear it and part of me takes it as a compliment, but the other part of me wants to slap their hand when they lift up the lid of the cookie jar! Numerous folks have asked if I have any to-go coffee cups. NO, I don't. I'm not a Starbucks. Of course I smile and only grumble to myself. I'm thinking of buying some labeled metal coffee to-go cups and sell them. If they buy one, they can get all the free coffee they want from me.

I have thought of this also, BD. Instead of the pottery type, the insulated "to go" type with my logo would be nice.

Just see it as another revenue stream selling something we already do and have in house

. More produces more services keep us in touch and in the for front. Guest will remember your great coffee they just paid for and oh umm your baking whither that be your cookies or Muffins to go. Yes it is a small income but it beats giving it away . It is a part of the experience that you deliver . But it also gives you reviews. Though baking it may be exhausting. I think it also pays off.
There again also what helps I feel is some thing I am not doing but will change that is Blogs and some social media. Which I hope will generate more leads. I hope that will help me be in control. Not giving my profits over to Boo kin and travel agents and directories.
I don't know about you all. But I feel when people come from these places they usually don't become regulars . These people Bok and T a's are getting bigger and we are getting smaller. They are not our customers but T as customers. In ternate is wonderful but in some cases it not building loyalty.
I was really thinking of one of these company's to help in shoulder season but realized these people that use these companies. It is their customers not ours. Sorry for being so long winded. But waking up at 4 am Makes me do a lot of thinking and trying to figure out what to do next. trying to build long term relationships. What will work and what will not . And on that note I going down stairs and get some ironing done.
