Helpful hint for bloggers

I shared this elsewhere and thought it may be helpful for someone here as well.

Super photos that are not being utilized due to distractions in the photo, or no great focal point.
Feel free to CROP an image.
Preserve the original (so save the new cropped version with a different name).
I first test cropped the image leaving the adult in the photo as well, and decided to go against it with her brightly colored shirt that drew me away from the look of discovery and wonder on the little boy's face. I also thought it appeared to be more fun with the two boys on their own vs an adult hovering over them.
IMPORTANT
Lastly, remember bloggers when you save a file save it with your B&B name so it comes up in Google searches and Google images.
Don't save this as kids.jpg or kids-2.jpg what good does that do anyone?
An example would be be "pond-aquatic-life-discoveries-kids-mybedbreakfast-johnville_ohio.jpg "
So if someone searches for pond, aquatic, kid stuff, your B&B, your town, all of those will bring it up in Google. Consider searching your own database for this very photo, without those key words it makes it difficult to find.

You know 2cat_lady I can see you blogging your heart out where you are, with your personality, you have no idea how that makes me feel, really, sister-brother-hood-of-the-blogging-er-what-ever-it-is ...I know quirky-innkeepers.
There is so much to see in your area, the website is mostly static, blogging allows you to share the odds and ends. Would you have the "butt kicking machine" on your website? No, of course not, but would you have it on a blog? People search for it and find it? Or "Foam Henge"? They search and find the info on YOUR blog. YES SIRREE!

Sharing Photos and Videos are the most important factors for getting popularity .It is always better to express any information using Images and Videos rather than plain text .It looks impressive and also easy to understand .
