OfflineI've had a few people contact me off forum for some info related to "the reach" of Innspiring.com. For anyone that is concernes with such things here are some of the latest (as of Oct 10 2008) stats for this site.
Innspiring.com went "live" in the last few days of May 2008 so at the moment the site is just a hair over 4 months old.
Our current registration count is at around 180 members (people that have created accounts).
Two days ago we had a new all-time high of 145 unique visitors in one day. Typically we have 100 or more per day.
Search engines are now providing 23% of our referrals (number climbing slowly but surely)
20% of our traffic is from new visitors. Crunching that number with our unique visitor numbers and it shows that roughly 95 visitors a day are return visitors. Cheers to all of our return visitors 
Some of the funniest search engine referals from the past two weeks:
- Richard Gere bed and breakfast (6 visits)
- trust earned travel (6)
- rainspa slide bar combo shower head (6)
- breakfast barefoot (1)
- hedge hog cake (1)
- b&b guns (1)
- b&b's in rodanthe nc (6 in several variations of the phrase)
- babymoon packages in maine (1)
- babymoon packages in nyc (1)
- fluffing (1)
- gift certificate verbage (1)
- horrible bed and breakfasts (1)
- how to get pee out of a matress (thanks Bree
) - jbj linen
The interesting thing is that there are actually a lot of searches that are bringing in traffic that are actually people looking for a place to stay. So it is possible the Featured Inn listings can bring in some legitimate traffic to your inns. Though admittedly, most of the traffic from the featured inns listings are not likely to convert into paying guests.
Top landing pages other than the home page (from either search engines or people creating deep links) for the past 30 days in order of popularity
- GC's from Iloveinns

- Gift Cards
Most visits lasted between 10 and 30 minutes.
Most people visit 20+ pages per visit
60% use Internet Explorer 37% use Firefox
93% use Windows, 7% Mac and 3 people visited the site on their cell phones.
While most of the visitors come from the US and Canada, we have been visited by 35 countries and 3 planets (just threw that last bit in to see if you were paying attention)

When Pluto was divested of 'planetary status' we offered a discount to any Plutonians in the neighborhood to show solidarity with their cause.
