Thursday one of my Councilmen who has been waiting for a couple years got his new heart. Friday he got a new kidney. He had cancer a few years ago and the cancer cure damaged his heart & kidneys. He is a duper, upbeat person. Last I heard he is doing well but any and all prayers would be welcome. I expect to get an update at the Council meeting tonight. Thank you all in advance. I look forward to welcoming him back to Council meetings.
UPDATE: From David's daughter
Dad did have emergency surgery last night. However, it wasn't the surgery they went to the O.R. with intensions of doing. The ICU doctor just spoke with us. He said he's not out of the woods yet, but test results are trending in the right direction and vitals are good! Praise God! Miracle in the making!

What is his name?

David Signorelli. Update is that he is more alert. Meds are being reduced. They hope to remove the ventilator soon. Heart working OK but they are not happy with the kidney so that is being looked into more.

Good luck to your friend. My Uncle had a heart transplant and went on to participate in the Senior Olympics. Great things are possible!
