Anyone have any suggestions on nice bed skirts. The ones that are heavy and don't get all bunched up when making a bed. I have looked on Hotel Register and they have tons to choose from but I need the heavy type that will not bunch up .Any ideas please let me know

I've found some decent ones at BB&B. They have samples out so you can test the weight. If you're looking online, a lot of times you can tell if they're see thru or not how heavy they will be to drape properly.
I can look later when I clean the rooms and let you know which one drapes the best and which the worst!

Thank you so much for getting back with us

We were very happy with the bedskirts we purchased at BB&B but one of their sales consultants recommended using a fitted sheet over the boxspring. It makes it so crisp and clean looking and no more having to walk around the bed and fixing the bedskirt where it gets accidentally tucked in when I make the bed.

That's what I use on 2 of my 3 beds.

Sorry, the tags are on the headboard end of the beds. Don't buy the scratchy ones at BB&B...they stick out from the bed and don't drape at all. The softer feeling ones, drape nicely. I sewed the corners on them so they are tight to the bed, more fitted.
It's either Palais Royale or SmoothWeave. If you go to the store you'll be able to tell the difference in how they feel.

it's a nice idea to cover the boxspring with a fitted sheet - but i wanted to hide the legs down to the floor. i didn't have the best looking legs!

The outside corners are open so that people who have footboards (guilty in one room) can still use them. They go around the metal bracket that holds in the footboard. :)

Just got back from BB&B. If you go there, the nicer bedskirt is the Palais Royale. The Smoothweave is the one that's scratchy and short.

We just bought a Wonder Skirt from bb&b. Putting it on today. It's expensive, so I hope it's worth it!

Okay I have been away for a minute or two and only opened the thread and read this part and had to laugh. I was thinking "The makers of the wonder bra made a wonder skirt now?" well they probably already have, of course. But read what you wrote BD in that light, it is hilarious. I can almost picture you putting it on today like a scene out of Hairspray.
