We met at Noon, had a leisurely lunch, sat ans talked (the staff did not disturb us in any way while we sat there - I tipped good), and then we went our ways to try to get home before dark. She was closer to home than me and even stopping at the mall to pick up something for her husband beat me home. BUT - I stopped across the street from the restaurant at the CVB to leave a supply of the Elopement Postcards, then went to Russell Stover outlet for a supply (3 lbs of bloopers were $5 off so bought 1 for me, one for City Hall, and one for each or 2 Christmas parties we are going to AND had enough points for a free box of chocolates that a friend will get for Christmas). THEN I stopped at the Welcome Center in Morgantown to drop off some rack cards and postcards & have a chat (have a chat keeps one in their minds for people looking to lodging). DH phoned to ask for spaghetti fixings to be picked up.
Yesterday he decided to cut up the pumpkins - at 4 PM. Was almost 1 when I got to bed. BUT I took my friend 2 packages of fresh-pureed pumpkin pre-measured as generous 2-cups for pies for Thanksgiving. I had a great day. PLUS on the way home I got a call from a man who has stayed here before when he had a drilling job call to see if I had rooms for tomorrow just in case. A good day. Now I am ready for bed. Night...............
