I was asked to be an Innkeeper and to write out what I thought would be part of my pkg of pay. I'm completely lost as to what to even ask for. Can I get some help?

Find out from your state/province what the going rate is for what you would be doing. Every state should have a website that shows what certain job categories are paid. How many hours are you working? What are your days off? What are your responsibilities? Are there bonuses for bringing in more business?
Most people on here are owners. There are a few paid innkeepers. It depends on where the inn is located and what you are getting in lieu of cash money - a place to live? food? utilities? health benefits? vehicle?

a LIVE IN / ON Site innkeeper?
How many hours? What are the duties? You may need to give us a bit more information so we can help.

I do think that folks here will be wanting a lot of information to help you.
One alternative is to look at what an executive hotel manager in your area makes and what hours they keep. If they work 40 hours a week, but are often expected to work extra as a salaried employee, take that into account. Gather up what facts you can and compare it to what your job description is.
Anything more and you will get 50 questions about your particular situation and still may not get a number.

Also, if you are using your real name it is now searchable in relation to this forum. If your employers do a search for info about you they will see this post and your comments.
Just a head's up.
This forum, with your question is on the second page of a Google search of your name.
You might want to change your user name here. Your email address is not visible or searchable.

We have a live in, we have only been open since August and we just provide room and board. She's retired so she has income coming in. We made a deal with her that as we grew things would change. So far so good!

If you are being asked to come up with a proposal for your own compensation, here are a couple of things to consider:
(1) maybe start with a portion of your salary as a fixed base, with the remainder of your salary variable depending on performance -- if you are ultimately responsible for occupancy and revenue generation.
(2) think about the cash flow cycle for the business -- is it steady year round, or strongly seasonal? If if is cyclical at all, maybe you could time your salary draws to match the cash flow cycles of the business (assuming you are disciplined enough to save your money yourself for when you need it!).
(3) be sure to recognize (or at least understand) the value of any housing, board, or any other perqs that come with the position.

Maybe it would help the OP if you said what responsibilities your innkeeper has. Give her an idea what room and board covers in re workload.
