Yikes!
I haven't done breakfast for guests in over a week. DH & I were tripping over each other in the kitchen. He had to redo one guest's breakfast it looked so awful.
 
Same thing happened to us! After one week with no guests, we had lost the rhythm. It comes back!
 
Remind me not to use a heart surgeon who just returned from vacation!
 
Along the same lines...same guest had a complaint this morning about something we have on our list to fix. The way the heating was configured we have one room where the pipes run thru a second room. So the second room heats up even if you don't turn the heat on. They complained their room got too hot.
Along with multiple other issues these folks had/brought with them, including not wanting anything we planned to serve, going into the kitchen, leaving little notes for us all over, they are just not happy here.
I'm not coming up with sympathy or customer service. No matter how many times we've had someone mention something not working and we gladly fix it, I'm having trouble with the smile today. Again, because I'm rusty!

I wouldn't have minded a note that told us not to bother with breakfast, we brought our own.
They left us tissues on the nightstand, trash on the floor and a catalog for Cartier.
Oh, and they checked out late. Even tho they kept worrying about driving into the snowstorm.

I think it found them. I did not notice they were happy people.
