The first weekend of our Sugar Plum Tea is over and it was a big success and so much fun. I love the watching the childrens expressions as they experience the magic! We have one more weekend to go. We do this Saturday and Sunday for two weekends!

I was looking at all your pics today. Meant to post something. Almost brought tears to my eyes to see the joy in everyone's faces! You are really making some memories for these folks!
BEAUTIFUL!

I have been liking and sharing the pix on FB. They are wonderful.

i love how all the guests dress up - and that it looks like whole families come. so nice.

Its so fun, yes, its also a lot of work, but the joy it brings to them is so worth it. The adults said the children talk about it all year long. The Dads that attended were so excited (almost more than the children!), what memories those children will have of their special "Daddy Date". Listening to their conversations and seeing the joy and wonder in the childrens eyes makes it all worth it!

Yes, we did have some whole families come.
Not one person attended that lives locally! Its so weird! All the tickets have sold to people who live 30+ miles away! Even a few to folks from the BIG CITYS 100 miles west of here, and 150 Miles east of here! But NONE locally! I don't understand that. Perhaps too much 'farmer mentality' locally ??

They get to make keepsake ornaments using the pictures we take of them, and then they take those home with them for their tree.
