Hi Everyone,
So my family is toying with the idea of starting a bed and breakfast and as the most technologically savvy (as in not not very) of the lot, it's my job to look into a website.
What website builders would people suggest? I've seen some discussions about Word Press already, but have also heard of Wix, Squarespace, and Weebly.
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

WordPress. Have a seat. Empty Nest will be with you shorty. :)

Many people are going to squarespace. Personally, I would hire a professinal and have someone who knows what they are doing build your website. For the most part...80% of people should not be "do it yourselfers." 'nuf said from me today :)

There is no free lunch.
You need a professional user friendly tons of great crisp photos website.
I applaud you for looking into this FIRST and getting your ducks in a row, as most do it as an afterthought, and really miss the bus (it will cost you a lot more later on, it is one of those do it now and you will be glad you did $$)
This is your #1 marketing tool, it should be top of your list.
Any free simple easy do-it-yourself website builders should be tossed in the bin. If you are not savvy enough to build one, then hire someone who is, and that means someone in the hospitality/tourism field, not someone who builds online shopping portals. B&B's have a different flair altogether!
All the best!

Hmmm. I guess I did leave a comma out when I called pokeefe32 shortly. I guess I could have been clearer: Shortly, you have a seat. Empty Nest will be right with you.
And she was!
