Since I'm going away tomorrow afternoon for the Holidays, I wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays, be it Christmas, Chanukah, New Years, Kwanza or Festivus!

I'm going to a Festivus party Saturday night. We've been busy explaining to non-believers what it's all about (not sure myself). Looking forward to the Airing of Grievances. Not so much looking forward to the Feats of Strength.

Happy Festivus! Last year I went to a party and we had the wearing of the flannel (all wore flannel shirts) the year before we wore over the top Christmas sweaters (I don't like to call them 'ugly')

I had to Google this. Guess some of us were never Sein field fans. I do love invented holidays, though. We used to celebrate National Ragweed Day at our office on Auguist 15th. We went all out with cake and punch. Big surprise to the patients who had the next couple of months to look forward to hay fever

As one who suffered from ragweed (which could have been a cash crop on our farm if we could have found someone to buy it) I like that.

Innkeep, I never watched Seinfeld .. not my style of humor. But when I was invited to a Festivus Party I learned quick. It was a lot of fun and didn't keep me from enjoying Christmas.
National Ragweed Day sounds scary - how about Happy Dandelion Day? Dandelion wine and such?
