At our local area BnB Association the local military base community affairs officer asked us to be careful advertising on our websites to active duty military, no longer publicly advertise free rooms for Vets on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Veterans Day, etc.
The officer repeated the old "Loose Lips Sink Ships" and asked us report to local law enforcement any phone call where someone inquires along the lines of "I am in the military and I think some of my friends might be staying with you this weekend, do you have anyone from Edwards/Quantico/AP Hill/Oceana etc. staying there?"
I know this forum as a whole seems to have a deep respect for those who have served. Please try to continue to honor veterans and as I have recommended before the best is to contact the XO or Chaplain at your nearest base.
Be aware the officer who spoke to us said that even small military gatherings such as military funerals, reunions and free rooms for Vets, in fact anything that brings multiple service men and women together are now considered targets.
We have even moved our annual gathering of VietNam Helicopter Pilots to a different set of dates to avoid having it be on the "normal date".

Sad just so sad.

It's sad, I have even removed my military affiliation from my personal fb page. I no longer post pics with me in uniform.

no comment.
yes that is a comment, but I am saying it like that.

I will not run business from a place of fear...TA, threatening guests, or now this. Once you give into it/them, they've got you.
