I know we are still pre-opening. But I had some beautiful JCP robins-egg blue towels my wife got me for birthday. She was bleaching, and the dirty towels were nearby, and now they are speckled.
Certainly an argument for white towels and sheets, I guess...

Bleach them and they will match, again :).
That is the sad realization *smile*. But as a gift from wife - who saw me dazzled by how much I liked them in store - it was the thought.
Guests might prefer white towels, but I always hated them unless they were really premium. I like vivid colors - makes the bathroom seem more alive. White reminds me of the YMCA pool towels. Of course for guests, white comes with a lot of nice cleaning advantages. If only real bleach worked on bright colors.

Splash a little more bleach to create more little white spots. It won't be a robin's egg any more, some other songbird egg - blue with white speckles.

Undersea, go with the white. Easier to see stains, easier to clean, you CAN use bleach when needed, and all your sheets/towels will match. When cleaning between guests, you'll soon value any procedure that saves YOU time.

Yes - I plan to. These were my personal towels, a gift from wife for BD. As said below, I prefer vivid colors for my own.
